This is Revive.
A community built on movement, music, and connection — out in the streets and on the floor in Millbrae.
From Couture to Revive
This studio began as Couture Dance & Yoga. In 2025 the name changed — but the heart only got clearer.
The turning point was Tulum. Our inaugural retreat, Revive Tulum 2025, was never meant to stay in Tulum. It came home in every body that returned softer, clearer, more itself. That was the moment the work had a name: to revive — to come back to life in the body.
It is the concept behind everything we do now: grounded, embodied movement. Not performance, not perfection — presence. A practice of slowing down, clearing what you carry, and remembering how to feel at home in your own body, on the dance floor and on the mat.
The people behind the floor
Luis Aguilar
Luis is a two-time World Latin Dance Champion and one of the Bay Area’s most sought-after salsa instructors. As Dance Director, he leads Revive’s program from first steps through advanced — known for breaking down complex patterns into something any dancer can actually feel, and for keeping the whole room laughing while they learn.
He holds the floor and the fundamentals: technique, musicality, and the pure joy of social dance. His classes are where beginners find their footing and seasoned dancers sharpen their edge.
Melissa Rodriguez
Melissa has spent more than twenty years inside the language of the body — yoga, Latin dance, drumming, and sound — treating them as one continuous practice. A 500-hour registered yoga teacher trained in the Hatha lineage at Yoga Garden SF, she brings specializations in prenatal, restorative, and trauma-informed practice to everything she leads.
As Wellness Director, she holds the breath and the grounding beneath the movement — a space where presence is the practice and everyone is welcome. Above all of it, she’s a mother: the heart behind everything she builds.
The Revive way
Every level, every age, every shape. You don’t need experience — you need to show up.
We move to feel close — to ourselves, to the music, and to the people beside us.
A plant-filled, unpretentious room. Come as you are; leave a little lighter.
Come move with us.
Salsa, tango, styling, and yoga — all week, all levels, in Millbrae.
