Salsa Fundamentals, Private Instructor

Negar Chitsaz was born in Tehran, raised in Ottawa Canada and has been living in the bay area since 2007. She started dancing as a child with her native Persian and Belly Dancing and has always had a passion for embracing and mastering new dance styles and techniques. In University she learned Argentine Tango and Flamenco before moving to the bay area where she spent 15 years training with some of the top dance Instructors in the bay area in different styles of dance: Salsa, Mambo, Afro Cuban and Latin Jazz.

She has Studied and Performed with the following Companies:

Montuno Dance (Isidro Corona), Couture Dance Alliance (Luis Aguilar), Mambo Nova (Hector Reyes), Mambo Romero (Gabriel Romero), Latin Jazz with Echale Dance Company (Amanda Marquez) as well as training Afro Cuban in Cuba with Yaselis.

She is excited to share her knowledge of Salsa/Mambo fundamentals and available for private lessons at Couture Dance & Yoga Studio!
